Dan Duvall is a PNW-based comedian performing across Canada, the US and Europe at Just For Laughs Vancouver, CBC’s LOL, The Winnipeg Comedy Festival, CBC Gem, Motor City Comedy Festival, Hubcap Comedy Festival, Rifflandia Festival, and more! He is also the subject of the documentary Funny Tweets—featured on CraveTV and HBO Canada.
I collaborated with comedian Dan Duvall to conceptualize and refine the visual identity for his debut comedy special. We explored a range of concepts—from weird and zany to polished and pared back—ultimately landing on a look that balanced playful energy with professional polish. The final direction captured Dan’s irreverent tone while honouring the craft behind his work.
I also worked with Dan to bring one of his most beloved closing bits to life as merch. We translated the spirit of the joke into a design that fans would instantly recognize—and be wearable beyond the punchline.
